To My Angels for Christmas 2008 Well, Angels, it seems another Christmas is drawing near; I found myself sitting alone here, trying send a message clear To heaven above for it to appear Of how much I miss the three of you so dear. I hope and pray for a Christmas of white So I may see the bright shining light Of snowfakes and stars that shine so bright Throughout the long, lonely night, That bring back a sweet memory Of snowy nights and a frosted tree, Of Christmases past, white as can be, That have been spent with me. I wish this year for a Christmas bright, Filled with love and heavenly light. Oh! what a heavenly sight That would be on Christmas night! A precious sign from heaven above, In a loving, peaceful grove-- The special sign of a snow white dove, With peace to all and sent with love. I miss and love the three of you so, As at this Christmas I feel so low, Sitting here writing this below, With tears flowing freely as I go. So, I really need to see A sign from the powers that be: A white Christmas for memory, For me that will be the key For me to go on another year Without all of you being here, As Christmas time starts drawing near, For strength and grace as snowflakes appear. Build your snowmen above in flakes of white; I will see them as they all take flight And fall to earth in showers of light, All though the snowy, cold, dark night. Please, all angels dear, I send this special prayer: Send your Blessings to those who are here. To each and every one that's there, Please know that I really do care. Please help us survive Christmas this year With happy, fond, loving memories here, With fun, laughter, snow, and good cheer, Without the sadness of a tear.
